• ¡Hola a todos! My name is Mrs. Lafferty (or maestra) and I love teaching at Jeffrey Clark School! This is my seventh year here in the district, but this will be the start of my 17th year teaching Spanish to elementary school students. I can not wait for the school year to begin so I can share my love of the Spanish language with your children.

     
    It will be a pleasure seeing many of you at Back to School Night.  I have a couple of requests as to what can be done at home to support the Spanish instruction at school.  Please encourage speaking as much as possible at home, even if it is just to use courtesy words such as gracias (thank you), de nada (you're welcome) and por favor (please).  Colors and numbers 1-30 are essential as well and I will spend a lot of time covering them in our classes.
