During the two week period, we will continue to monitor and assess the situation, as well as consult with the Gloucester County Department of Health, to determine if remote learning needs to be extended.
Monday, March 16th
In-Service Day for Staff; no students
Tuesday, March 17th
Remote Learning Plan begins
District buildings closed except to essential staff
Over the past two weeks, our staff have worked tirelessly to ensure our students can continue their education remotely. We are confident in our plan, and although the transition to remote learning may present some challenges for all of us, we are committed to rising to the challenge. Remote learning allows us to continue to count school calendar days towards the 180 day mandatory requirement, so these days will not need to be made up during spring break or in June. Please note that May 22nd is now a half day for students.
We will provide families with more information on Monday afternoon. Throughout the closure, you may reach out to your child’s teacher(s), service providers and administrators. We will be responsive and supportive.
I thank you for your cooperation and support during this unprecedented time.
The Staff of the Jeffrey Clark School is inspired to teach and learn every day.
Displaying teacher stories helps visualize the growing community of teacher voices, and showcase the power of teachers coming together. It makes Jeffrey Clark a family.
