    Welcome to First Grade!

    Hi First Grader (and Family),

I hope that your summer has been a blast!  School is almost ready to start up again.  I hope that you are as excited as I am to begin a new year!  First grade is a year filled with fun and exciting learning experiences!  Our first day is Tuesday, September 6th! It is going to be a full day with a 3:20 dismissal.

We have Art on the first day of school/ Day 1! How great is it to have Art on the first day of school!

Starting 9/6/22, please send your child to school with a peanut free/ nut free snack for the morning everyday.  Please send your child with a snack that is easy to open and eat. I recommend sending your child’s snack separately inside his/her backpack, especially if your child brings a lunchbox/lunch bag when packing lunch from home.

Lunch: Children may bring lunch from home or they may order lunch from the cafeteria.  The choices on the first day of school are bagel, cheeseburger, or peanut butter and jelly.

*Please complete the Daily Dismissal Procedure Form  before the first day of school.  Thank you to those who have already submitted this form.

This will be our 5 Day Specials Rotation Schedule:

    Day 1 Art

    Day 2 Physical Education

    Day 3 Library

    Day 4 Spanish

Day 5 Physical Education and Music
