Homework Policy
Homework will be given on a nightly basis. Homework can include working with words activities (Spelling), reading logs, math concepts, practicing basic facts, projects, and studying for upcoming tests. Tests are always announced in advance. Please encourage your child to complete his or her homework neatly and in pencil. If your child does not understand a concept that is part of the homework, please send in a note or write a note in your child's homework planner. I will be happy to work with your child on that concept. Students will be expected to write their homework down each day.
Absent work policy - if a student is absent from school, the homework that was previously assigned should be handed in on the day that the student returns to school. Any work that is missed should be completed and returned in a timely fashion.
