    Daily 5 provides a way for any teacher to structure literacy time to increase student independence and allow for individualized attention in small groups and one-on-one. This will be utilized in our classroom to help foster literacy skills.
    Some of the terms you may hear frequently are: 
    • Read to self
    • Listen to reading
    • Word work
    • Read to someone
    • Work on Writing
    These are all components of the Daily 5 that we will be using in class.
