     Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services work to support children in the classroom to promote learning. Occupational Therapy is sometimes commonly referred to as "O.T."  O.T. is considered a related service in the school setting, which means that there are certain qualifying criteria that enable students to work directly with the occupational therapist.  However, the occupational therapist works as part of the educational team by collaborating and consulting with school personnel to offer strategies and accommodations to facilitate the motor and sensory needs of all students.
