Meet the Teacher

Hi, my name is Meg Sheldon and I am excited to be your child’s 2^nd grade teacher.  This is my 5th year at East Greenwich in Second Grade. 

I have lived in East Greenwich almost all of my life.  I have two boys, Andrew and Alex.  I taught 1^st grade for 7 years at Harrison Township School District and then stayed home 11 years to raise my boys.  I am so happy to be teaching again!

I always love learning and trying new things.  Some of my favorite activities are cooking, reading, competing in athletic events, and traveling.  I love to spend time on the beach with my family!

I am looking forward to the new adventure that waits for the school year 2018-2019.  We will have an exciting time with Reading, Math, Writing, Science and Social Studies.  It is my goal to make learning enjoyable and meaningful for your child!  I thank you in advance for all of your help to make this a fabulous year!
