•  Homework

Please see your child's ELA/Writing Google classroom for homework assignments. All homework is posted daily in the "homework" section. You can find this by following these steps:

    1. Log into your child's ELA/Writing Google classroom.
    2. Click the word "classwork" at the top of the page.
    3. Scroll down to the subtopic "homework." and you will see the most recent assignment posted there. If there is no assignment posted, there is no homework that night.

    Other helpful homework information:

    • If reading is assigned, students may choose to listen to the book's audio while they read along with their novel. This is a great tool for helping to build reading comprehension skills! Audio for most of our 6th grade novels can be found on YouTube.
    • If a student forgets their class novel, links to an online version for most of them can be found on the "ELA and Writing Resources" section of my website.
    • Late assignments are accepted for FULL credit up to one week after the due date.
    • Late assignments are accepted for PARTIAL credit up until the end of the trimester in which it was originally assigned.
    • Students can check for missing work on google classroom or on Realtime.
    • Students will receive a list of missing work approximately one week prior to mid-trimester, as well as one week prior to the end of the trimester.
