Supplies requested for this year:

• A box of 12 #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
• Box of crayons (no larger than 24)
• 4 glue sticks
• 2 dry erase markers and eraser
• 1 highlighter 
• A pair of scissors 
• 3 – 4 eraser caps for pencil tops
• Pencil case/pouch 
• 2 composition notebooks (black and white marbled cover) 
• Solid colored pocket folders in the following colors: (1) green, (1) blue, (1) yellow, (1) orange, and (1) red
• A 1.5 inch hard-cover binder (no larger than)
• A pack of clear sheet protectors (please place 10 in the binder and keep the extras at home)
• 1 pair of headphones/earbuds to be used with Chromebook

In Math, we expect students to enter third grade with their addition and subtraction facts memorized. We will be starting the year with timed tests for those facts and move quickly into multiplication and division. Please review the facts this summer, so that your child is fluent with his or her addition and subtraction facts.

Please send in only what your child needs and label all materials with your child’s first and last name. All extra supplies can be kept at home and sent in on an “as needed” basis. We also ask that students avoid bringing pencils, erasers and school supplies that resemble toys. These things create a distraction for students and interrupt the learning environment. Many items may need to be replaced throughout the year!
