    Estimate: a number close to an exact amount

    Pattern: a repeating or growing sequence that follows a rule

    Round: To replace a number with another number that tells about how many or about how much

    Example: 5 X 8 = 5 X (4 + 4)

    Liquid Volume: the amount of liquid in a container

    Liter (L):  a metric unit used to measure capacity and liquid volume (1 liter= 1,000 milliliters)

    Mass: the amount of matter in an object

    Gram (g): a metric unit used to measure mass (1 kilogram= 1,000 grams)

    Unit Square: a square with side length of 1 unit, used to measure area
