Lisa Giorgianni - Supervisor of Instruction for English Language Arts, English Language Learners and Special Areas

Lisa Giorgianni joined the leadership team as the Supervisor of Instruction for English Language Arts, English Language Learners, and Special Areas for the East Greenwich School District in December 2020. Her beliefs have always been rooted in hard-work and values fostering strong relationships. She prides herself in a hands-on approach that enables a path for empowering staff to make instructional decisions to meet the needs of all students. 

 

Mrs. Giorgianni joined the East Greenwich School District in 2010 at the Samuel Mickle School where she held the position of third-grade teacher for seven years. While in this role she served as team leader, a member of various committees, and a teacher mentor. She then transitioned into the role of the Teacher on Assignment for three and a half years for the district. While in this position she assisted the curriculum office by enhancing the early literacy curriculum and instruction through the implementation of resources, professional development, and committee work. Main areas of focus have included but are not limited to - the implementation of Journeys reading resource, Schoolwide writing resource, and most recently the New Jersey Tiered Systems of Support for Early Reading Grant. In 2017, she received the award of Educational Services Professional of the Year. 

 

Mrs. Giorgianni attended Kean University for her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her master’s degree in School Counseling from Wilmington University. Once immersed in the educational field she decided to further her studies by working towards her master’s in School Leadership at Wilmington University. Mrs. Giorgianni holds her elementary teaching certification, school counseling certification, and supervisor certification. She is currently finishing requirements to obtain her principal certification. 

 

Mrs. Lisa Giorgianni lives in Greenwich Township with her husband and three sons. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, Sunday dinners at her parents’ house, and time at the beach.
