    Student Council of Character

    6th Grade

    Day #5 during lunch/recess

    Stacy Kuhen

The Student Council of Character  has been established to promote a shared ownership of our character education program among our students. As leaders in our school community, sixth graders will have the opportunity to join. There will be an application process and approximately 15 students will be chosen based on their application and teacher recommendations.  Students will meet on Day 5 during lunch and recess to share ideas, develop inspirational messages for the morning announcements, develop kindness buddies activities for the classrooms, plan character education assemblies, engage in service learning projects, and will author our Character Chronicle newsletter each trimester to share the character-driven activities that are going on within our school community. The Student Council of Character fosters a positive school environment filled with kindness, acceptance, and respect.
